My Cover Story

My Cover Story

When you are down on your knees- The Power of Vulnerability

This morning, I was sharing with my neighbor from my heart. I shared a story I find so hard to share with people because of how scarred I am from the event that occurred. Being able to open up to her gave me the courage to publish this piece, my prayer is that you be blessed and encouraged by it.

It was  betrayal of a friend that I really loved dearly. Quite honestly, It wasn't entirely her fault. I had my part of fair blame. This friend and I hung out together a lot, our friendship was new but to me it felt like I had known her for ever. During our course of friendship, we had shared so many things with each other. I shared past hurts from family with her and deep thoughts that went on in my head too. She also did, she shared her fears with me and I felt it was a beautiful and strong friendship.

But I made a big mistake. It wasn't a mistake of trusting too soon. It was far from that. I talked very carelessly with her. We had a mutual friend, who I really did like. There were certain things she did that I didn't agree with at the time, I judged some of her decisions poorly without understanding them at all. I mean who am I to judge anyone? So I spoke about some of these things with friend A, lets call her that. Friend A totally agreed with me and that was it. A careless conversation that should never have happened. Read here

My friendship with friend A soon fizzled out, I don't really know why. I tried my best to pursue the friendship, but it just didn't quite work out.
Well, friend A and B got closer in their friendship and friend A decided I wasn't a good friend to Friend B and narrated our entire conversation to her.
During this period, friend B's friendship with me became quite forced, I wondered what it was but I just decided to carry on. I never thought that friend A had anything to do with it, there were times I worried friend B was a little strange but I never thought much of it.
A while later friend B opened up to me and told me what had happened. I was gutted and decided that it would be best, all three of us sat and ironed things out.

The story went downhill from there, It wasn't as if I wasn't guilty of saying what ever it was, I was guilty of a number of things, but the things I said had been retold maliciously and Friend B was understandably disappointed.
There was no amount of apologizing, maybe denying, or explaining.
It was bad and it really couldn't be fixed. There were some things I felt that were told out of context but that is secondary, As a christian woman, I had no reason to say them at all. Our families had become involved and of course it filtered into our homes. Read here

I thought that I had been down and empty before, this was a different spectrum.
I was drained, I couldn't pray, I couldn't function, but the Lord saved me.
I had prayer warriors around me, as I shared my disappointment with myself, my hurt and my grief with them, they counselled me and they prayed for me. There was a release in my spirit and I became free. It was a long journey but I made it. You see whoever the Lord sets free, He sets free indeed.

There was a lifting. An unbelievable lifting. So I decided to draw closer to the lord, I told the lord everything. How I felt, my grief and my shame and He began to give me rest. Read here

One day He spoke to me, He told me for all your shame, I will give you double honor, I asked Him, I said "But why lord? You know my heart, why did this have to happen to me?"

First to teach me a lesson- He told me. He reminded me that when words are many, transgression is not lacking in it. So I had to learn the power of quiet lips.
He told me that most importantly, what was meant for evil, He would turn around for my good, that the enemy thought he could kill, steal and destroy my joy because of my unique personality and fervour for the Lord. The Lord turned that deed by friend A into a testimony becase of a truth I was crushed but the Lord revived me. My testimony also by Gods grace will bless others to the glory of God and shame of the devil. Read here
I realized then that, it was when I was down on my knees and called on to His name, that He healed me and began to show me great and mighty things. It was a period that I kept to myself in order to find myself in God.
I cut out unnecessary socialization and sought God out. I prayed and studied the word more, the more I did, the stronger I became spiritually and physically. The lord washed away all my sadness, for all the ashes I was covered in' He gave me beauty. Read here and again here
In fact there was one day my husband held my hands and said "baby you are like fine wine?" I looked at him confused because this man is not a drinker. He said "you're like fine wine because you're getting prettier with age" That was a good one- only that I knew where that beauty and radiance was coming from. It wasn't from getting older, It came from my maker, my beautifier, the King of kings Himself.

One of the things the lord directed me to do was; First, to pray for forgiveness. That friend B forgives me no matter if she wasn't entirely a good friend to me herself.
Two, that I truly forgive friend A and ask for a heart to love her even more than I did before.
Boy! that was hard, but I did it. The more I did, the more healing flowed into me.

Thirdly He did something for me through someone, a friend who is like a mentor to me suddenly got in touch with me without knowing any of what I was going through at the time, she blessed me with a book- The Anatomy of Peace.
This book entirely changed my life and re-organised the thoughts in my head based on the hurt I was going through.  (It is a must read)

The lord also asked me to begin to pray for godly associations, I began to pray for that. Shortly after that I was invited to join a prayer ministry.

The blessings that He has brought my way by just being down on my knees to Him are innumerable.

Who do you go to when you are down on your knees and you can't go on? You need The Healer.
You need to surround yourself with godly women who will stand in the gap for you when your mouth is heavy with your cries, who will be honest with you and correct you in love when you stumble.

My friendship with friend A and B has changed, and I can't say I miss our friendship, I just ache for what could have been. We could have been a bunch of God loving friends who supported each other, prayed together and grown together. God has filled those aching parts with His love.
When the devil reminds me of what name friend A gave me, He constantly reminds me that I am not a failure, that I am good, kind, wonderful, beautiful, loving and righteous because Jesus lives in me.
He also told me that He sees friend A the same way, He sees her as beautiful, special, kind and wonderful and to never look at her through the eyes of the enemy.
He told me He loves her more than I can imagine and I should never for a second doubt that.

He also surrounded me with people who see the good, beauty and love and appreciate what God has deposited in me to give, and I can still give despite my hurt from this friendship.
And I will keep giving because I own nothing yet everything in Christ Jesus. If I can rise, so can you.

Today let go of your past hurts, get up, get up from your thinking corner and get on your knees, go down on your knees and go to your Way Maker.  Let Him begin to restore and mend your btoken heart. I pray healing for you through our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen..

If my people humble themselves and pray, then I will hear and I will heal. 2nd Chronicles 7:14

NO DEATH, ONLY LIFE! By Joseph Prince

Proverbs 12:28

In the way of righteousness is life, and in its pathway there is no death.
God does not want us to worry about whatever happens in the world. We don’t need to be affected by whatever is causing the world to be afraid because we are the righteousness of God in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:21) And the Bible says, “In the way of righteousness is life, and in its pathway there is nodeath.”

The patriarchs of the Old Testament did not suffer during the famines that occurred in their lifetimes. Abraham remained very rich in livestock, silver and gold. (Genesis 12:10, 13:1–2) Isaac reaped a hundredfold in the land he sowed. (Genesis 26:1, 12–14) Joseph, with his entire family, was richly provided for in Egypt. (Genesis 47:11–13, 27) They weren’t just spared from suffering—they prospered exceedingly!

So even if our nation or the world enters a recession, we need not suffer. As long as we keep our eyes on Jesus, our righteousness, we will thrive!

This proved true for a church member whose boss told everyone to expect a substantial pay cut during an economic downturn. But while her colleagues received pay cuts, she received a substantial increment! As the righteousness of God in Christ, she saw provision in a time of lack.

In the midst of fearful news such as terrorist attacks, deadly pestilences and natural calamities, God says, “In the way of righteousness is life, and in its pathway there is no death.” In fact, He protected an entire coastal town in South India during the Asian Tsunami in 2004.

A pastor who lived in that coastal town was praying that morning when he felt prompted by the Holy Spirit to plead the blood of Jesus over his entire town. So he did just that. When the tsunami struck, his town was untouched while five other towns, which were further inland, were wiped out by the devastating flood.

My friend, God protects us when the world is experiencing evil because we are the righteousness of God in Christ. His Word declares that “in the way of righteousness is life, and in its pathway there is no death”!
Thought For The Day

You don’t need to be affected by whatever is causing the world to be afraid because you are the righteousness of God in Christ.

Testimony: Few months ago, it was bedtime and I was extremely tired, as the wave of sleep swept over me, I started to say my bedtime prayers whispering them in my heart as my eyes closed to nature, I felt the prompting of the lord so strongly to anoint every opening of my home. I began to plead every window, every door with the blood of Jesus. I didn't get up from my bed I just anointed it in faith not physically with oil or anything. That morning as I woke up, I felt some kind of presence around so I just prayed it away. My helper told me later that day, that she had a strange dream. In her dream, she saw a dark figure with dreadlocks and torn clothes fighting so hard to gain entry into my room in the dead of the night,he
tried so hard to get in through my bedroom doors that open to the balcony but couldn't because he was prevented by guess what? The Blood! The Righteous Blood of Jesus. Stay in the Lord, He is our righteousness and our covering, glory to God, Amen.

One Thing Is Needful By Joseph Prince

Proverbs 4:20–21
My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart;
Scripture Reference: Proverbs , Luke
George Müller, who lived in the 1800s, cared for about 10,000 orphans in total in his five large orphanages. But he never allowed his huge responsibility to take him away from the Word of God. He said that every day, he would set aside time to study the scriptures until his inner man was happy in the Lord.

Once, Müller met a man who worked between 14 and 16 hours every day. He told the man, “You are destroying your health. You don’t have time for your family and, most importantly, you don’t have time to nourish your inner man with the Word of God.”

The man replied, “I hear you, but I can’t see how I can cut down my working hours and spend time in the Word because even with the 14 to 16 hours I put in each day, I still can’t put enough bread on the table for my family.”

As the man walked away, Müller said, “He doesn’t believe that if he gives time to God’s Word first, God will take care of all his needs.”

Likewise, do you really believe that every day, only one thing is needful? Even if the bills don’t get paid, the children are not making any headway in their studies and the office work is not completed, all these things can wait. Only one thing is needful—that you spend time in the Word of God.

When Martha complained to Jesus that her sister Mary had left her to serve alone (Mary was sitting at Jesus’ feet and hearing His Word), Jesus defended Mary by saying, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” (Luke 10:41–42)

My friend, you will not lose out when you take time to sit down and listen to God’s Word. Even your health and well-being will be blessed. (Proverbs 4:22) So take time today to meditate on His Word. It will make your way prosperous (Joshua 1:8–9), and give you divine health and good success!
Thought For The Day

You will not lose out when you take time to sit down and listen to God’s Word.

Easy Back to School Lunch Box Ideas

Packing your child's lunch box shouldn't be stressful. All you need is a little time to plan in advance. Make a time table to give you ideas when you are stuck. We have sifted through the variety of ideas on the internet and presenting to you 5 of the best and most practical. Enjoy.

Good ol' sandwich:
All you need to do is make it look pretty, use sandwich or cookie cutters to make different shapes or animal faces. Be creative, if your child doesn't like lions please don't cut out a lion shape. It will end up in the bin or back where you left it.
You can roll up bread slices with a rolling pin, spread some butter or jam or filling and then cut into slices, they will look like cute sushi rolls. You can even make sandwich on a stick. Cute!

Yoghurt:
Not only is this a healthy snack, it tastes great too, when it has fruits in it at least. Kids love it, you just have to find a good brand and a flavor your child likes.

Fruit Slices:
From apples, to pears, strawberry and cucumber, the list is endless. Make it look pretty by putting it in a separate container, if your child likes fruit and dip, send one with them too.

Cookies: Better if you make them your self they are so easy to make. Check out this recipe by clicking cookie recipe . You can substitute on different days with oatmeal and coconut, chocolate and even with some apples and cinnamon added too. Bake on.

Home made Pizza: This can even be made in advance and frozen. Use your child's favourite toppings and send them with a slice or two.

Don't forget to send them with some water also and some fruit juice or milk. I randomly tuck in a note in my child's lunch bag to let her know I'm thinking of her, she says it brightens her day.

Life With God Is Easy And Light By Pastor Joseph Prince

Matthew 11:28 28Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

It always warms my heart to know that Jesus sees the cares we carry in our hearts. He knows the worries you have for your family and for the future. He feels the heaviness in your heart as you struggle with the sickness in your body. He says to you, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

Jesus wants to give you rest. And He says that the way you receive rest is to be yoked with Him, for His yoke is easy and His burden is light. (Matthew 11:29–30)
What does it mean to be yoked with Jesus? Imagine a pair of oxen yoked together. The younger ox sees what the lead ox does and follows. If the lead ox turns left, the younger ox turns left. If the lead ox stops, the younger ox stops. When the lead ox starts moving again, the younger ox follows. Likewise, Jesus wants us to follow His leading and flow with Him.
It is not hard to flow with Jesus because He will not lay anything heavy on you — “For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:30) When you are yoked with Him and you flow with Him, you will find that there is nothing heavy-hearted, ill-fitting or burdensome from the Lord. When you flow with the Lord, you will find that things fall into place. You will not be weighed down, anxious or distressed.

You might say, “But Pastor Prince, God has given me this heavy burden. It is weighing heavily on my heart!”
My friend, if the burden is heavy, it is not from God because Jesus said that His burden is light. The devil has probably given you the burden to crush you!
“Oh, Pastor Prince, you are making light of how serious my burden is.”
No, I am not. Jesus did say that His burden is light and His yoke easy. So a life yoked with Him is anxiety- and worry-free.

Beloved, follow His leading and flow with Him, and you will find rest for your soul!

To Greet or Not to Greet

More often than not, when women get together we talk about everything. From our husbands to our children, a relative or even a neighbor. Not necessarily in a bad way. We share our highs and lows and issues that bother us as well as make us laugh.
For some time now, one of the major issues hat has remained on the table is -pleasantries.
For example, a friend of mine had shared with me how another friend of mine wouldn't say hello to her if they bumped into each other. Quite a number of others agreed with her about this particular lady too. I found this really hard to believe because I felt that this un-greeting friend was quite a warm person.
It wasn't long after our conversation that I bumped into this lady friend of mine. I had seen her not too far off  but she hadn't seen me. She walked past me and didn't acknowledge me at all. I wanted to call out to her, to say hi and ask if she really hadn't seen me, but I listened to a still quiet voice inside of my head to just let it go.

Later that night, I contemplated on it all and the more I though about it, the more I got convinced of so many things.
Firstly, who do you consider a friend? You see a true friend would never do that-pass by without exchanging pleasantries. Although this lady was part of my small bible group and we exchanged pleasantries at the group including private messages to each other, she wasn't really my friend, and I don't mean that in a bad way. For that reason, I was wrong to expect more from her.
Another thought was, did I know what was going through her mind at the time she passed by me? What if she felt the same about me? I mean -what if she also felt like I was deliberating not greeting her as well.
I was beat up by these thoughts in my head.

There are some cases though, even among believers which brings me so much sadness. It feels like sometimes, especially among women, that we are in competition with each other. Some people want to be greeted first. (Another thought to that is, they might have been in the habit of greeting people and then got cold replies.)
Some do not want to be greeted. (Another thought again to that is, They want to remain unseen and don't really want any interaction with others maybe due to bad experiences, and so they build a wall around themselves.)
However, some wanted to be greeted a certain way-kind of like the Pharisees. Loud and respectfully in the presence of others, so that they may be seen to be worthy of honour.

What is more beautiful than a warm greeting shared by women? A hello to say I see you. A how are you? to say I care about you. A good morning to brighten someone's day. What is the big deal in exchanging pleasantries?
You don't have to know someone to greet them, you don't have to be friends with that person to greet, you don't even have to stop them from doing whatever it is they were doing just to greet.
Greeting someone is one of the easiest and simplest things to do. As you walk past someone, smile and say good morning, good afternoon, hello, good bye, have a beautiful day.

My mother once shared a story with me, about a distant relative. She had bumped into her on the way to her aunts house, so she stopped to exchange pleasantries. Seeing that she didn't look quite right, she invited her to go along with her. Her distant relative obliged although quite unwilling at first, but my mother persisted.
Later that evening, after they had had dinner together, she admitted to my mother and her aunt that she had been going home to kill herself when my mother bumped into her. She was fed up with life and had been miserable with it. She told them that just by being in their company, catching up, laughing and eating together, it dawned on her that life was far too precious and extremely worth living.

Your "Hello!" Good morning, That's a beautiful skirt you have on, just simple pleasantries  won't take anything from you. It could save someone's life. It could lift someone's spirit, It could revive something dead in someone.
There is an enormous deal in a greeting. It costs you nothing. Be cheerful and fill the world with sunshine and love.
Greet the person next to you and if they don't respond, don't give up on them, life may be dealing harshly with them, always remember that. Stay Blessed.

Wear your Denim Shirts in Style

Much Better Than Before By Joseph Prince

Isaiah 61:7
Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, and instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; everlasting joy shall be theirs.

God says in His Word that you will receive double for your trouble. If the devil has given you one trouble, then for that one trouble you can expect to receive a double-portion blessing! And if that trouble has caused you to experience shame, God’s promise to you is this: “Instead of your shame you shall have double honor”. God wants to give you a double-portion blessing for every trouble you go through!

And don’t think that God is behind your troubles. The devil is the real culprit. Sometimes, it could be the one you see in the mirror every morning! But the moment you respond to God in faith, He gets involved in your restoration. And He does not restore to you the same amount that you have lost. You always get more than before, if not in quantity, then in quality. You will be at a higher place than before. You will be healthier, wiser, financially stronger or more at peace!

This was the case with Job. Satan was behind Job’s troubles, but when Job responded in faith, God took it upon Himself to restore to Job all that he had lost. The Bible tells us that Job received double in terms of quantity—from 7,000 sheep to 14,000 sheep, 3,000 camels to 6,000 camels, 500 yoke of oxen to 1,000 yoke of oxen and 500 female donkeys to 1,000 female donkeys. And for the children he had lost, God restored in terms of quality—his daughters were the fairest in all the land. (Job 1:2–3, 13–19; 42:12–15)

If Job, who was not under the new covenant, could be blessed with double for his troubles, how much more we who are under the new covenant! In fact, God will not only restore double but triple, fivefold or even sevenfold! Such was the restoration experienced by one of our pastors, who was cheated of some money. In the end, he received a sevenfold restoration!

My friend, for everything that you have lost, get ready for God’s restoration. Expect to receive double and even more for every trouble!

Thought For The Day
If Job, who was not under the new covenant, could be blessed with double for his troubles, how much more we who are under the new covenant!

I am Woman, My Saviour's Beloved.

Friendships change, Passions change over time, Love for a thing or a purpose can wax cold, Change is the only constant thing in life people say.

Know this, the only love that can never change is the love of God, He loved you first even before you loved Him, so when you become nobody' favorite, forgotten, looked over, be fully at peace because you are Gods special one and nothing can ever beat that.

I Want So Much.....

I Want So Much.....

FROM ‘DELIVERANCE’ TO ‘NO EVIL SHALL TOUCH YOU’ By Joseph Prince Ministries

Bible Verse: Job 5:19
He shall deliver you in six troubles, yes, in seven no evil shall touch you.

God will deliver you from all your troubles. (Psalm 34:19, 2 Timothy 4:18) But deliverance is actually not the best that God has for you because it implies that you are in trouble. God’s best for you is the place where no trouble or evil can touch you. And with His help, you will come to that place because the Bible says, “He shall deliver you in six troubles, yes, in seven no evil shall touch you.”
This does not mean that God will only deliver you six times. It just means that as you keep believing God’s promises of protection, after some time, you will come to a place where no evil will touch you!
So when trouble comes, God does not want you to be discouraged. He wants you to know that it is only the devil trying to steal His Word from your heart. The devil is afraid of leaving God’s Word in your heart for even one second because he knows that it will lead you to a place where no evil will touch you. That is why he comes immediately to steal God’s Word from your heart.

He will do so by telling you, “Look, your child is sick. Where is God now?” You must not respond by saying, “Well, I guess it does not work. Maybe God’s promises of deliverance are not for my family.”
No, you must continue to stand on God’s promises. Say, “The previous flu my child had did not stay. God promises me deliverance and He did deliver my child then. So I will live life believing His promises of deliverance because His Word is true. And I will come to a place where no evil can touch me and my family!”
Beloved, even if in the next moment you happen to stub your toe against something hard, don’t be discouraged and wonder why God did not protect your toe. The devil had meant to cause greater harm to you, but thank God that he could not because God is watching over you. And keep standing on His promises until you come to the place where no evil will touch you!

Thought For The Day
Keep believing God’s promises of protection and come to a place where no evil will touch you.

Scripture to hide in your heart when faced with trouble:
Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Isaiah 54:17 no weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD and their vindication from me, declares the LORD.”Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Psalm 121:7-8 The LORD will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. 8 The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.

2Timothy 4:18 The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Psalm 27
Colossians 2:14-15
2nd Thessalonians 3:3
Psalm 91

How to Style your boring office Pants

How to Style you boring office Pants

The 21st Century Mother by Pastor Mrs Nike Adeyemi

Jochebed gave birth to Moses at a time when Pharaoh had given the command that all male Hebrew babies should be thrown into the river. Even before Moses had done anything for her, Jochebed saw that he was a beautiful child, risked her life and hid him for three months. She showed creativity when she placed Moses in a basket in the rushes by the river; the same river where the male babies were supposed to have been killed, yet he was saved by Pharaoh’s daughter.  She is a good example of the 21stcentury woman.( Exodus 2:2)
We learn from Jochebed that there is a time to hide our children in God’s love and prayer. We need to see beyond our children’s flaws or handicaps and believe that they are beautiful children with bright destinies.  She understood that God would never give us children who are nightmares. Never write off any child.
As a 21st century mother, you have got to be informed about young people. Get on social media and get into your children’s space even as you bring them into your own space too. Be committed to your family and children. Be tenacious about what can kill them; things that can lure their hearts away from God. Through prayers, go ahead to shield them from negative influences and lifestyles. Teach them God’s word, be there to support them, vet the curriculum of their schools and ensure that you have given them the right foundation to counter wrong teaching. Children of nowadays know many things that their parents do not know; parents and guardians needs to step up the game.
A 21st century woman communicates excellently with her children, their friends and with the things that communicate with them, she ensures that the communication channel remains unclogged.  She is also a woman of faith; she is not fearful even though raising children in this day and age can be daunting, God expects us to receive grace for the assignment from him ( Matthew 11:28-30)
The 21st century woman is a woman of covenant and she introduces that covenant to her children. Teach your children to pray about different matters and help them build their confidence in God. Do not compromise your values when relating with them, do not compare them with their peers, commend them when they do right. Love them unconditionally guide them from a young age and do not shy away from discussing various topics with them. You will get to know more about them and their beliefs when you do. Be a person of integrity because your children are watching you and they are more likely to copy what you do rather than what you say. Monitor your children’s activities, physically and on the internet and advise them against wrong lifestyles. Don’t impose your values on your children. When you discipline them, do it from a standpoint of love.
The 21st century mother wears many hats but Jesus says we should come to him so he can give us rest. Ask God to give you wisdom to handle all the different aspects of your assignment so you can live a successful life and be happy over your children in the latter part of your life
In His love

The 4 Spanking New Commandments of Food for a Trimmer Body

These new food rules from Prevention could change the way you for better, Don't be the last to know. It is worth reading.

How much you eat matters more than what you eat:
What we say: Excerpt you are on the Dukan diet,  this makes complete sense . So instead of debating whether to eat granola and guzzling u on it because it is a health alternative to 5 slices of bread and eggs and bacon... simply measure you foods. Portion control is the key word.

The most important thing on your package is the ingredient list:
What we say: Tots agree! We mean totally agree (for those who don't have teenagers around them) Prevention says that, The shorter the list, the less it is processed food. If sugar and salt are among the first list of ingredients, it's a red flag. C'est Finit.

Herbs and spices aren't just for adding flavor:
What we say: Really? Most herbs like cinnamon and dill are packed with phytonutrients that boost metabolism, sharpen memory and balance blood sugar, so sprinkle liberally.

The Kilojoules in Snacks count too:
What we say: Yes, that is perfectly correct.
If you are eating a healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner and you still aren't loosing weight, the culprit could be your snacking habits. make sure the cookies and tea you are snacking on doesn't contain a high amount of calories. Think of hummus and cucumber sticks instead of salted chips and soda.

Encouragement For Today: No More Dead Dogs

By Bishop T.D Jakes
Study: 2 Samuel 9: 6-10 Read it Here

The Scriptures tell us that with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:10). There is a strong tie between what is believed and what is confessed.

You need to allow new meditations to dwell in your heart by faith, for you life will ultimately take on the directions of your thinking. Many weaknesses such as procrastination and laziness are just draperies that cover up poor self esteem and a lack of motivation. There are often symptoms of the  subconscious avoiding the risk of failure. Remember that "nothing will be impossible for you" if only you will believe. (Mathew 17:20)
Let me remind you of a story from 2 Samuel. King David sent his servant to find any surviving relatives of his friend Jonathan. When his servant returned to the palace from Lo Debar with Mephibosheth, the crippled son of Jonathan, David rolled out the red carpet and invited Mephibosheth o join him for dinner at his royal banquet table. The problem was that Mephibosheth couldn't sit at the table without falling to the floor. He struggled with his position because of his condition. his problem wasn't merely his twisted feet or his crippled body. It was his dysfunctional mentality.
Even after he had been raised from the deplorable condition he had lived for years, he was still so oppressed in his mind that he described himself as a "dead dog" (2 Samuel 9:8). He was a kings kid, but he saw himself as a dead dog.

Perception is everything. Mephibosheth thought of himself as a dead dog, so he lay on the floor as one. Sister, you have been on the floor long enough! It is time for a resurrection, and it is going to start in your mind. Has God blessed you with something you are afraid of losing? Could it be that you think you are going to lose it because you don't feel worthy?
Don't follow Mephibosheth's example.
Understand this one fact: just because you have been treated like a dog doesn't mean that you are one! Get up off the floor and take a seat at the Masters table-you are worthy. You have aright to be in the place and position that you are in, not because of your goodness, but by virtue of His invitation. I pray that God will heal your thoughts until you are able to enjoy and rest in what He is doing in your life right now!

Sunday Sermon : Fear and Demons. Must Watch!

Did you miss church today, Trust something beautiful and blessed, we always have you covered.
Joyce Meyer teaches about fear today. Someone once said FEAR means False Evidence Appearing Real, That is really insightful. Remember God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind. |Enjoy and be blessed says (2 Timothy 1:7)

Since this is only 29 minutes long, do you have a couple more minutes left? What do you know about demons? What are they and how do they operate. This will educate you. Remember, when you are in Christ, you have power over them, you are a terror to them and not them to you, because Jesus Christ has overcome the world. I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. (Luke 10:19)
