Chocolate Mug Cake

Have you ever had a sweet tooth craving mid way through the day but unfortunately there isn't any desserts chilling in the fridge? Well worry no longer here is a 3 minutes chocolate dessert which is surprisingly quick and simple to make, even your younger siblings can get involved. It's chocolatey sponge of goodness goes really well with ice cream or frosting as well.

The ingredients listed at the bottom is for 1 person 

Duration: 3-5 minutes + 3 minutes for chilling 
Serves: 1
Difficulty: 1

Ingredients

4 tbsp. all-purpose flour
2 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp, granulated sugar
Pinch of salt
5 tbsp. milk
2 tbsp. vegetable oil

OPTIONAL: chocolate chips, nutella, or peanut butter





Method
1. Mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, sugar, and salt together in a cereal bowl.
2. Add the milk and oil and mix well.
3. If desired, add chocolate chips.
4. Place batter into a mug and add nutella or peanut butter if you prefer. 
5. Microwave for 60 seconds

6. Be careful when taking out the mug, it is very hot.
7. Leave the mug cake to cool for 3 minutes then add a topping.
8. If you want it hot then leave for at least 45 seconds.
