Bright and Beautiful Bahrain

Bahrain is one of the smallest countries in the world, but one of the most beautiful too. It is about an hour if you fly from the UAE or Qatar. Bahrainis are friendly and welcoming to foreigners. There are lots of places to visit and things to do. Experience the warm middle eastern hospitality. Marhaba!

Where to stay:
The Ritz Carlton:The Ritz Carlton is breath taking, the breakfast spread is deliciously delectable. It is  one fit for royalty. Book in advance and you may enjoy special discounts.

Things to do:
The Bahrain Museum:
Visit the Bahrain Museum and enjoy seeing how past civilizations lived in very realistic depictions. There are different selections of house hold scenes to view. Our favourite was how they made bread in their kitchens in yester-years. Truly amazing and a worthwhile experience!

City Center Mall:
All the shopping you can do, with international and local brands, the City Center Mall also houses a Cinema, Indoor water themed park, and lovely restaurants. You can spend the whole day there without even knowing it!

Lost Paradise of Dilmun: After six flags and Wild Wadi in Dubai, this is the next best water theme park in our opinion. There is a water activity for every age and every level of endurance your body can handle. This is one place your kids will love you even more for going.

The AlAreen Wild life:
Enjoy the sight of different animals, birds and desert plants in their own natural environment. Take a walk around the park and get close to unique birds that wander freely and happily around you. Or take a bus tour in the reserve and get to know all the different kinds of endangered animals such as the Arabian Leopard, the Ostrich, the Arabian Gazelle, the Oryx and many more.

Where to Eat:

The Lumme Restaurant: Is fresh and a delightful restaurant. if you want to try middle eastern sandwiches and fresh fruit drinks . The traditional cardamom coffee served with traditional dates is worth going there for, children will also enjoy the home made ice creams.
